BRUNOX Epoxy anti-rust agent

Description

BRUNOX EPOXY is an epoxy-based anti-corrosion agent (rust neutralizer and epoxy primer in one product). When applied, it reacts and forms a black, durable coating. This coating provides long-term anti-corrosion protection for metal, and thanks to the epoxy components contained a primer layer.

Brunox anti-rust agent application process

The product is applied to a mechanically cleaned and degreased metal surface in 2-3 layers (Suggested drying time between layers- 6h).
After 6 hour (+/- depending on the thickness of the applied layer and the temperature and humidity) the first layer can be sanded and removed, and the next layer can be applied. After 24 hours it can be repainted / the next layer of primer applied.
The drying process can be accelerated by heating lamps. If necessary, a filling primer (filler) can be applied on Brunox Epoxy, then putty and paint.
You should not apply Brunox on etch primer as Brunox is acidic and the other is alkaline. It is not recommended to apply putty on Brunox Epoxy without prior treatment due to poor adhesion.
