Description
Mercasol 2 is a solvent-based transparent anti-corrosion protection product that leaves a completely dry and non-sticky surface. Based on wax and sulfonates, provides long-term protective properties.
Mercasol 2 is mainly used on visible surfaces where a dry, non-tacky, discreet protective layer is required, for example on vehicle doors and hoods, or on tools and equipment. Mercasol 2 can also be used as anti-corrosion protection in joints and connection points.
Mercasol 2 application suggestions
The surfaces to be treated must be dry and free from rust, dirt, salt, and oil. Application should be carried out indoors at a temperature between +15°C and +25°C.
Mercasol 2 1-liter bottle is intended for use with a compressed air spray gun together with a cavity hose. Mercasol 2 aerosol is applied using the attached nozzle and tube.
When applying with an aerosol, two coats may be required to achieve the recommended dry film thickness, as the applied layer is finer compared to spraying with a gun.
